MLEV will announce its unanimous endorsement of Mayor Thomas M. Menino for reelection.  Mayor Menino has been a strong leader on environmental issues that affect both Boston and the Commonwealth.  The Mayor has taken major steps to reduce the city’s impact on climate change through a variety of measures.

The Massachusetts League of Environmental Voters is the statewide non-partisan environmental organization dedicated to holding elected officials accountable on the environment.  MLEV and green business leaders will discuss the Mayor’s environmental accomplishments and leadership in Boston.  The NEXUS Green Building Resource Center was chosen as the location for our endorsement because it symbolizes the sustainable building practices that the Mayor has championed as part of his climate action agenda.
