The Haitian American Political Action Committee is proud to announce that during a recent meeting, all members voted to endorse Mayor Thomas Menino for re-election on November 3. This vote is a testimony of our appreciation for the Mayors’ commitment and dedication to empower our community through education, job training, housing and business development.
Mayor Menino’s Main Streets Initiative has revitalized our neighborhood business districts. His administration has made revolutionary changes in Chinatown, Egleston Square, Grove Hall and Codman Square. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Mayor Menino and the dedication of the members of his administration, Mattapan has become a competitive neighborhood with a state-of-the-art library, new middle school, community center and early education center.
The Mayor’s Office of New Bostonians makes Boston a unique and attractive place for new immigrants. Through this office, Mayor Menino provides new immigrants the opportunity to find immigration clinics, English as a second language, job training to mention only a few. This coming election gives us the opportunity to say thank you to our Mayor and make sure every citizen goes to vote on November 3, to re-elect our friend, our leader, our Mayor, Thomas M. Menino.
